Here are the steps to take to find out why the module is not showing any text.

Step 1: Make sure that the module is actually being displayed on the page you are looking at

                - Simply turn on the 'Show Title' option in the module and then refresh the page on the front-end.  The title should show up now.  If it doesn't check that the 'Position' and 'Menu Assignment' options are set correctly.

Step 2: Ensure that your 'Pull Content From' module parameter is set correctly and you have items selected in either the 'Single Article', 'Category', or 'Section' options.

Step 3: If you are trying to display just the body of an article, try setting the 'Show Intro' option to 'Yes' and the 'Show Body' option to 'No'.  Sometimes, if your article does not have an intro set, Joomla will return the body as the intro which can cause this scenario.
